3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD). The scope bands published on this website are ranges, not fixed quotes: the final price depends on the fault found during the diagnostic, the parts required, and the access conditions at your property. You receive a written quote itemising the diagnostic fee, parts, labour, and disposal before work begins.
The diagnostic fee is waived when you authorise the repair on the same visit. Where the repair is not authorised, the diagnostic fee remains payable and you keep the written fault report. Payment is due on completion unless other terms are agreed in writing. Published ranges may change without notice; the quote you receive in writing governs.
4. Scheduling, Access, and Cancellation
Same-day and 4-hour cold-snap response targets are commitments we work to, not guarantees, and can be affected by weather, road conditions, and call volume during extreme cold. You are responsible for providing safe access to the equipment, including clearance around the furnace or boiler and access to electrical and gas shutoffs.
Please cancel or reschedule a booked appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge.
5. Warranty
Parts and labour warranties are issued in writing at the end of each job and typically run 1 to 5 years depending on the part and the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties on installed equipment are governed by the manufacturer's own terms and usually require documented annual maintenance to stay valid. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, work performed by others, or failure to maintain the equipment.
6. Safety and Refusal of Work
Where a technician identifies an immediate safety hazard, including a cracked heat exchanger, elevated carbon monoxide, an unsafe vent condition, or a gas leak, the equipment may be shut down and, where required, reported in line with Ontario fuel safety obligations. We may decline to return equipment to service until the hazard is corrected. This is not optional and is not a sales tactic.
7. Rebates and Third-Party Programs
Where we file rebate paperwork on your behalf, including Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate Plus and the Canada Greener Homes Grant, approval and payment are decided by the program administrator, not by us. Program eligibility rules, funding, and amounts can change at any time. We do not guarantee any rebate outcome or amount.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Best Furnace Repair Toronto is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from services performed, including loss of use, property damage caused by pre-existing equipment or building conditions, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law.
9. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Content on this website, including text, layout, graphics, and images, is the property of Best Furnace Repair Toronto and is protected by copyright. Pricing, technical information, and rebate details are published in good faith for general guidance and may change. They do not replace a written quote or an on-site diagnostic.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted to this page, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the change.
